was issued granting rent arrears, compensation and reimbursement of the filing fee to the Landlord. Compensation was also granted to the Tenant.

On or about 24 October 2023, the Tenant filed an application for a rehearing on the grounds that the Tenant was excluded from part of the hearing, the Adjudicator missed evidence and failed to consider it, the Adjudicator got evidence confused with another house on the same property, the Adjudicator accepted evidence that was underhanded and the Tenant had new evidence come to light.
On 20 February 2024, a hearing to consider if a rehearing should be granted was convened. The decision was reserved and had not been issued at the time of these Orders.
On 8 March 2024, the parties filed a Joint Notice of discontinuance which sought to: a) Discontinue the proceedings with no issue as to costs; b) Recall the decision dated 16 October 2023 and remove from the Tenancy tribunals online database.
I have granted leave to discontinue the application for a rehearing. There are insufficient grounds to recall the decision however I have considered the request for name suppression.
I have considered both parties interests in having their names removed, the fact that the decision was reached by consent and parties should be encouraged to reach agreement at the Tribunal. I agree that there is unlikely to be any real public interest in the decision and for these
