Reasons

This matter was adjourned from the initial hearing to determine the Landlord’s outstanding claim for rent arrears (Reference 4781243) and the Tenants application for breach of Healthy Home Standards, compensation and reimbursement of the filing fee (Reference 4782142).
The Landlord subsequently filed a new application for compensation, exemplary damages and refund of the bond. (Reference 4824558).
On the morning of the hearing, the Tribunal received an email from the Landlord seeking a withdrawal of their application’s as they had reached an agreement with the Tenants.
Neither of the parties attended the hearing.
The Tenant did not confirm to the Tribunal they were withdrawing their application. Their application is therefore dismissed as they did not attend the hearing, seek an adjournment or confirm they wanted to withdraw their application.
As the Landlord has been substantially successful in their claims, name suppression is granted to the Landlord.
