Reasons
- Both parties attended today’s hearing which was held by teleconference. The hearing was assisted by a Korean interpreter.
- On Wednesday 26 June 2024 the Tribunal granted possession of the premises to the landlord. The date of possession was mistakenly put as Friday 26 June 2024.
- The landlord subsequently made an application for a rehearing on the grounds that I had put the wrong date for possession and also because I had not ordered the tenant to reimburse the filing fee to her.
- I granted the application for a rehearing today and amended the order accordingly – the date of possession is corrected to Friday 28 June 2024 and I have ordered the tenant to reimburse the filing fee to the landlord because the landlord was wholly successful in the claim against her.
- I have suppressed both parties’ names for the same reasons as expressed in my order dated 26 June 2024.
- Please note that I have corrected the date in Order 3 above. In my first release of this Order I put the date as being 2026, rather than 2024. C ter Haar 16 October 2024
