- Both parties attended the hearing which was held by video conference.
- Mr Johnston has made various claims against Mr Roos in relation to the small house that he is renting.
- The Tenancy Tribunal has the jurisdiction, under the Residential Tenancies Act 1986, to hear claims between landlords and tenants.
- At today’s hearing it was established that Mr Roos is renting the main house as a tenant and is subletting the smaller house to Mr Johnston. Mr Roos is therefore a head tenant, rather than a landlord.
