- On 24 June 2025 Ms Shelford gave notice to end the tenancy. The landlord’s application seeks an order for possession on the grounds that Ms Shelford failed to vacate.
- The hearing took place by phone on 31 July. Ms Crump represented the landlord. Chantell was represented by her cousin Deana. Deana explained that she was at the property taking care of Chantell’s children and helping with packing up and moving. She asked for some more time to do this and to find another place to live.
- Ms Crump agreed to allow to 21 August.
- The landlord is entitled to an order for possession. The last day of the tenancy will be 21 August, with possession granted to the landlord from 22 August.
