- The application is withdrawn.
Reasons
- This application was scheduled to be heard by video conference. The tenant did not connect to the Teams [The landlord/s]k provided to her and nor did she ring in as directed by the Notice of Hearing sent to her. The hearing proceeded in her absence.
- This Order should be read together with the Orders dated 15 October 2025, 3 December 2025 and 14 January 2026.
- The hearings were adjourned on those dates to allow the landlord an opportunity to sort out the bond in relation to this tenancy. At the last hearing the landlord advised that another application had been made with regard to another tenancy, but the same tenant and the same bond – application 5407429.
- At that hearing I directed the landlord to ensure both this application and 5407429 would be heard together. Unfortunately this was not done and 5407429 has been scheduled to be heard on Thursday 12 March 2026.
- Rather than adjourning this matter yet again, the landlord has elected to withdraw this application. This leaves it open to the landlord to make another application, should the matter not be resolved at the hearing on Thursday 12 March 2026. C ter Haar 03 March 2026
