The tenants queried why additional costs had been added to the order. I explained that the fee for enforcing the possession order the landlord had to pay is added to the amount ordered by the mediator as the debt owing.

Because the Tribunal cannot address the tenants’ concerns about the mediator’s order in the absence of a successful application for rehearing, there is no order the Tribunal can make.

The tenants said that they already had an application for rehearing form. If needed, they can get free advice from Tenancy Services.
