Order
- The Tribunal orders suppression of the parties name and identifying details.
- The application is dismissed.
Reasons
- The landlord attended the hearing. The tenant did not connect to the MS Teams link provided to them and nor did they connect via telephone as instructed in the Notice of Hearing sent to them. The hearing proceeded in their absence.
- The landlord had applied for termination, rent arrears, outgoings, the bond and the filing fee. At the commencement of the hearing the landlord withdrew all claims. Accordingly, the claims are dismissed.
- The Tribunal may, on the application of any party to proceedings or on its own initiative, having regard to the interests of the parties and to the public interest, order that all or part of the evidence given or the name or any identifying particulars of any witness or party not be published and may attach any conditions to that order the Tribunal considers appropriate. 1
- There is no public interest in publication of the parties names and identifying details and at the landlord’s request I have suppressed all details. 1 RTA, s 95A (4) and (5)
