- The tenancy of [The tenant/s] at Unit/Flat Unit 206, 29 Brooklyn Road, Mount Cook, Wellington 6011, Berkeley Dallard Flats is terminated, and possession is granted to [The landlord/s], at 5pm on Sunday 10 May 2026.
- [The tenant/s] is to pay the sum of $ 5970.07 for rent up to and including 10 May 2026 and the filing fee.
Reasons
- Both parties attended the hearing. The Tribunal was assisted by an interpreter.
- The landlord has applied for termination of the tenancy, rent arrears and refund of the bond.
- Rent was at least 21 days in arrears on the date the application was filed. The tenancy is terminated. See section 55(1)(a) Residential Tenancies Act 1986.
- The landlord provided rent records which prove the amount owing at the end of the tenancy. The agency has been working with the tenant to find more suitable accommodation at a price that is more affordable.
- Because [The landlord/s] has wholly succeeded with the claim I must reimburse the filing fee.
