Reasons

This matter is set down for a hearing before me tomorrow.
The applicant has emailed the Tribunal asking for the hearing to be vacated and the file held open until the terms of settlement of the claim are fulfilled. The Applicant wishes to adjourn the hearing for this matter on Tuesday, 25 June 2024 as the Respondent has requested a payment arrangement plan to pay the sums owed. The payment plan will be paid and should be settled within 12 months. We ask that you please hold this matter open until the matter has been settled in full.
The respondents consent to the hearing being vacated.
The hearing is vacated by consent.
It is more administratively convenient to close the file and allow it to be reopened than to leave the claim in the system adjourned sine die. The result is the same.
The file is to be closed but the applicant is granted leave to apply to have the file reopened within the next 12 months should the respondents breach the agreed repayment plan.
