- [The tenant/s] and [The tenant/s] owes Kāinga Ora–Homes And Communities $1,084.50 the amounts owing in the table below (the debt)
- [The tenant/s] and [The tenant/s] must pay the debt amount of $1,084.50 to the landlord as follows: a.By a minimum of 71 weekly payments of $158.00, being $143.00 for rent and $15.00 for repayment of the debt. b.A final seventy second payment of $147.50, being $143.00 for rent and $4.50 for final repayment of the debt. c.Payments will be every Friday, with the first payment on 22/12/2023 and continuing until 9/05/2025.
- Payments will be allocated in the following order: rent and rent arrears.
Reasons
- The landlord attended the hearing. The tenant did not.
- I am satisfied that the tenant had received proper notice of the hearing time, date and place and chose not to attend. The landlord confirmed that the tenants were aware of the hearing and were still undecided yesterday whether to attend.
- The landlord has applied for rent arrears and has provided rent records which prove the amount owing.
- The landlord stated the tenants have been paying their rent in full and on time since 20 October 2023 and been repaying the debt at $15.00 per week and the parties want their debt repayment arrangement to be recorded in this order.
