The tenant must pay the debt at the rate of $30 per week.
The first payment must be made on Thursday 22 February 2024 and payments must continue every Thursday until the debt is paid in full.
If the tenant fails to make any payment within 2 working days of the due date, the balance of the debt then owing will be payable immediately and can be enforced through the District Court.
The Bond Centre is to pay the bond of $212.00 (5769116-003) to Emerge Aotearoa Housing Trust immediately.

Reasons

Ms Deol attended the hearing for the landlord. The tenant did not attend.
The landlord has applied for compensation and payment of the bond following the end of the tenancy.
At the end of the tenancy the tenant must leave the premises reasonably clean and tidy, remove all rubbish and return all keys and security devices.
The tenant must not carelessly or intentionally damage the premises.
The tenant did not leave the premises reasonably clean and tidy and did not remove all rubbish.
The tenant did not return the keys.
The drains in the premises became blocked during the tenancy and the plumber who unblocked them found that they were blocked by wet wipes. The tenant should not have disposed of wet wipes down the toilet, and she must therefore pay the cost of the plumber.
Two panes of glass in the premises were broken during the tenancy. The tenant has not disproved liability for the damage and so she is liable for the cost of replacing the glass.
There was other damage to the premises, but the landlord makes no claim in respect of that.
The amounts ordered were proved by the production of photographs, invoices and other documentary evidence.
