Shirley Rawinia Ruth Boyce and Elizabeth Hana Boyce owes [The landlord/s] $3,068.00 (“the debt”), calculated as shown in the table below.
Shirley Rawinia Ruth Boyce and Elizabeth Hana Boyce must pay rent and the debt as follows: a. By 0 weekly payments of $805.00 for rent. Payments will be every Wednesday, with the first payment on 18/12/2024 and continuing until 08/01/2025. b. A final payment of $3,041.00 to be paid on or before Monday, 13 January 2025 for the debt.

The tenant has recently paid an outstanding power bill, which means that moving forward, they should have enough money to pay their rent when due. The tenant also gave evidence that they have an appointment with Work and Income New Zealand (WINZ) to seek assistance in paying the arrears in full. The landlord was not opposed to a conditional order for termination.
As the tenant has cleared their liabilities and has an appointment with WINZ to seek further assistance, I am satisfied that they will pay the debt within the period specified in the order and are unlikely to commit any further relevant breach. I have granted a conditional termination order.
The conditional termination order will lapse if it is fully complied with. If the tenant breaches the order, the possession order may be enforced for 90 days from the first breach. See section 64(4)(b) Residential Tenancies Act 1986. Rent arrears
