The hearing proceeded by way of video conference. The landlord appeared by video link and the tenant was joined to the hearing by telephone.
The tenancy commenced on 6 September 2014 and is periodic.
On 7 August 2025 the landlord filed an application with the Tribunal seeking termination of the tenancy, rent arrears, refund of the bond, and reimbursement of the filing fee.
At the hearing the landlord amended their claim stating they were no longer seeking termination of the tenancy or refund of the bond. The landlord asked the Tribunal to order rent arrears and reimbursement of the filing fee.
