Order
- [The tenant/s] tenant/s] must pay The City Boarding House Limited $370.86 as calculated in the table below.
- The tenant must pay the debt in order 1 by 4pm on Friday 12 December 2025.
- If the tenant fails to make any payment within 2 working days of the due date, the balance of the debt owing will be payable immediately and can be enforced through the District Court.
Reasons
- Both parties attended the hearing which was held by teleconference.
- Mr Smith accepted that he owed $342.86 in rent arrears and understood that the $300.00 bond that he had paid had already been applied to this debt.
- I am also ordering Mr Smith to reimburse the filing fee to the landlord because the landlord was wholly successful with this claim against him.
- It was agreed at today’s hearing that Mr Smith had until Friday 12 December 2025 to pay this debt in full and that if it was not paid within 2 working days of that date then the amount owing could be enforced against him through the District Court. C ter Haar 03 December 2025
