While the Tenant provided extensive bank records, they were unable to identify specific discrepancies or demonstrate that the rent summary was inaccurate. Had the Tenant provided a detailed rent summary reflecting their payments, this may have assisted in clarifying any alleged discrepancies. Further, if the Tenant did not agree that rent increases occurred as recorded in the rent summary, they provided no evidence to support that position.
For these reasons, the amounts ordered are proved.
As the Landlord has been successful with their claim, the tenant shall pay the filing fee. As the Tenant has not been successful, name suppression is not granted.
