Claim types — money lines allowed on this order
Order
- Jessica Meek must pay Paul Rodney Dansby $1,128.00 immediately, calculated as shown in table below:
Reasons
- The landlord attended the hearing, set down to be conducted via video conference. There was no entry into the conference by the tenant, nor any prior contact with the Registry. A call to the tenant was attempted but unsuccessful. I was satisfied adequate service had completed and I continued with the hearing after the call went unanswered.
- The tenancy was ended on 10 February 2026 by a previous Tribunal order. Rent arrears to that date were also ordered. The tenant did not leave and bailiff enforcement was required. Possession was return to the landlord via this process on 26 February 2026. The landlord sought rent from 11 February but capped the amount sought to two weeks (or 23 February 2026).
- A rent summary was provided confirming no tenant rent payments were made. The rent arrears of $1,100.00 as sought are proven and ordered. Filing fee
- Because Paul Rodney Dansby has wholly succeeded with the claim I must reimburse the filing fee.
