However, I consider that the information provided to the tenant landlord’s application (that the landlord was seeking termination of the tenancy and that the tenant was in rent arrears) was sufficient to put the tenant on notice that a possible outcome of the process was that her tenancy could be terminated. The Bond:

The parties agreed in the tenancy agreement that the tenant was to pay a bond of $1800 to the landlord. The landlord claims that the tenant has not paid the bond. The tenant has not disputed this claim.

The tenant is to pay the bond to the landlord immediately.

When the landlord receives the bond, the landlord is to pay it to the Bond Centre in accordance with section 19 of the RTA.

If the tenant does not pay the sum ordered in Order 3 above and the tenant does not agree to the bond being paid to the landlord, the landlord can lodge a further claim with the Tribunal for payment of the sum due from the bond. Filing fee and suppression:
