Natasha Leaupepe and Daniel Leaupepe must pay [The landlord/s] $1,802.59, calculated below.
The tenants must pay the debt in order 2 at the rate of $100.00 per week.
The first payment must be made on Thursday 23 October 2025 and payments must continue every Thursday until the debt is paid in full.
` If the tenants fail to make any payment within 2 working days of the due date, the balance of the debt owing will be payable immediately and can be enforced through the District Court.

The tenancy ended on 30 June 2025 in terms of a conditional termination Order made by the Tribunal in an Order dated 16.6.25 (application 5228372). The assistance of a bailiff was required, although the tenants vacated to shortly before the bailiff arrived.
The landlord provided rent records and water rates invoices which prove the amount owing at the end of the tenancy. The June Order dealt included Water rates to 3 June which remain outstanding.
The bond has been released to the landlord
Because an eviction was needed, the landlord is entitled to recover the cost of replacing locks. The amount claimed is provide by the invoice provided.
The landlord seeks recovery of the fee paid to the bailiff on eviction.
It is a cost flowing from the tenant's breach of its obligation to quit the premises on termination so is recoverable. However it is a cost that is automatically included by the District Court’s process when the landlord seeks to enforce an order through the District Court. So I do not award it today to avoid potential duplication of the cost.
