The landlord attended the hearing. The tenant did not attend the hearing. The tenant has not communicated with the Tribunal as to why they would not attend the hearing and the hearing proceeded in the tenant’s absence.
The landlord has applied for rent arrears, outgoings, compensation, and reimbursement of the filing fee following the end of the tenancy. The landlord had claimed for damage to the kitchen cupboards. This claim was withdrawn at the hearing.
On 10 July 2024, this Tribunal issued an Order (4906455) terminating the tenancy at 5pm on Saturday 19 July 2024 and awarding rent arrears to 10 July 2024, rent from 11 July to 19 July 2024, water rates and the filing fee.
