The landlord’s application was for rent and water arrears, and reimbursement of the filing fee following the end of the tenancy. However, today the landlord also sought compensation for the cost of cleaning and other post-tenancy costs.

The tenant’s name and identifying details are suppressed pursuant to s 95A(4) of the Residential Tenancies Act 1986 because the tenant does not appear to have been before the Tribunal before and she has taken full responsibility for the debt.
